Political parties will be invited to share their views on national unity in alphabetical order to prevent allegations of preferential treatment, according to Deputy Prime Minister Prawit Wongsuwon. Gen Prawit, who chairs a government committee on national reconciliation, said the panel is prepared to hear from all stakeholders including politicians on how national unity can be achieved. He also said the committee on national reconciliation will hold its first meeting today to lay down guidelines for its sub-committees. Ten topics have been earmarked for talks on national unity. It has four sub-committees under it to see its agenda through, including the national reconciliation panel.
